Our namesake comes from our founders father, Papa, and his beloved dog, Barkley.
The idea for Papa & Barkley came about after our founder, Adam Grossman, was desperate to find a way to relieve his fathers debilitating back pain. He asked a friend for some cannabis, borrowed a Crock-Pot, and created the first version of our famous Releaf Balm.
Adams creation helped relieve Papas back pain, and got him off hospice and back up on his feet.
Adam shared that first balm with more family and friends, and they confirmed it worked. He then knew he had to share his product with the world, with an image of Papa and his dog Barkley on the package, of course.
